Students generally do their Summer Training form some institutions like NIIT or APTECH etc as they are not aware of what is the difference between summer training which is done form an institute and summer internship which is done form a company.
Diff b/w the both
1. Summer Training is more of a teaching which you can do from an institute. They will teach you like a normal class and at the end they will ensure that your project is complete. Where as in an Internship you will be asked to do things by yourself
2. Summer Training done from an institute will never help you in understanding the work culture of a company. Internships help you a lot in that.
3. The certificate letter of an institute is never countable when you will sit for placements. Internship will server as an extra benefit and will help in making your Resume much stronger.
4. Real world problems, there are zero in an institute. In internship there is a bag full of real world problems.
5. Learning, a limited one in institute whereas in internship, every day is a learning day
