My Experience With INFY Was Quite Different Frm Usual One..

Wat I Personally Feel Is That M Good At Technical And Much Week In Communication Skills...
So Knwing That INFY Dont Have A TR, I Was Little Bit Worried, And Moreover As I Was Having My Toughest Exam Of

Microcontroller On 18th (Day Next To Campus) I Was Feared..

Bt Nyhow I Decide To Go For It, Pack My Bag And Leave For Kalka(My Uncle's House)

Next Day I Got There About 8am. And Then We Were Made To Wait Till 10:30 (Dat Was Not A Good Feeling As Time Was

Running And I Wasn't Able To Study For My Sub. At That Moment)

Nyway The PPT Started At About 11am, By The North Zone's Recruitment Manager, And It Was Very Nice [One Of The Best

Presentations Of Mah Life, The Last Video Pumps Me, Really It Does :)]

Mr. Manager Tells Us About The Process Which Consist Of Written Then Personal Interviews.

The Written Consist Of Two Part (Apti+Eng)

Apti Part Was Very Easy(30 Questions, 40 Mins). I Finished It In About 15 Mins Only.
Then Come The Eng Part(40 Questions, 35 Mins), And As Expected It Was Tough, Really Very Though. But Somehow I Managed To Get Over It..

The Results Are Announced After 2.5 Hrs. And I Was Amongst The Selected One, I Was Happy.

I Change My Dress To Formal Then Reach The Audi Where I Was Told That HR 3 Will Interview Me(I Was The First To Be

Interviewed By Him)

He Was A Sardarji In His Late 50s. And Was Not Interesting Atall. He Was Very Boring.
Here Goes My Experience With Him Which Last For Around 15 Mins..

I Entered The Room, Wish Him Good-day. Then Stand In Front Of The Desk (I Was Told Not To Sit, Untill Offered)
He Says Me To Sit, And I,
Then He Gave Me An Attendance Sheet, I Signed It.
Then Ask For My Resume, I Gave Him The Same.

He Started Reading It, And Dont Ask Me Anything For About 5 Mins.

HR : Okays Siddharth Tell Me A Little Bit About Urself.
ME : Answered.

HR : Siddharth You Seems To Have A Lot Of Presentation Skill (As My Resume Indicates I Hv Won A Lot Of Prizes In

Presentations)
ME : Yes Sir.

HR : Do You Enjoy Giving Presentations.
ME : Yes Sir I Do.

HR : You Were Also In NCC During Your School Time, What Did You Leared There.
Me : Answered.

HR : Tell Me Who Is The Main Leader Of 3 Forces.
ME : President Of INDIA.

HR : Tell Me The Name
ME : You Wont Belive What I Answered Him, I Said Mr. Prathihba Singh Devi Patil

HR : MR.????
ME : Oh, Sorry Sir. Miss.

HR : Miss???
ME : Sorry Sir, Mrs. Pratibha Singh Devi Patil.

HR : Without Ny Expression On His Face, You Okay Na.
ME : Yes Sir, M Jst A Little Nervous.

HR : Why So?
ME : sir Its My First Interview.

HR : Siddharth, What Did You Learn In Your Trainings.
ME : Answered.

HR : Siddharth, You Have Won Lot Of Prizes In Different Clgs, Even In NITs, Why Dont You Have Won Anything In Your

Own Clg.
ME : Sir I Dont Participate In My Own Clg.

HR : Why???
ME : Sir I Organise Events In My Own Clg.

HR : Siddharth Who Do You Find You Clg.
ME : Sir, Clg Is Nice, Bt M Not Happy With The Faculty There.

HR : Why???
ME : Sir Most Of Them Are Freshers, And Are Not Good At Teaching.

HR : Okays Siddharth, It Was Nice Talking  To You.
ME : Thank you Sir.

HR : Do You Have Ny Query???
ME : I Was Told To Question At least Something, So I Ask Why Is INFOSYS Recruiting In Large Numbers, Is There Anything

Very Big Coming On???

HR : Infosys Always Recruits In Large Numbers..

So I Was Quite Happy With My Interview, Was Thinking Of Getting Through,
Bt That Happiness Dont Last Very Long.
The Girl Who Was Interviewed Next To Me Who Was Of My Class Was Also Asked About The Faculty In My Clg, And She Said

That The Faculty At Clg Is Superb, Everyone Is Atleast M.Tech.
So I Thought Either She Will Be Selected Or I, Bt As She Is Very Good In Comm. Skills. so I Was Outnumbered.

I Thought That I Wont Be Selected So I change My Dress, And Then Started Preparing For The Nxt Exam.

Then After An Hour We Were Asked To Go To Audi, They Says That Results Will Be Announced soon.

We Reach There, Then Comes The Recruitment Manager.
Ask Who Is Siddharth Here (Here Intentions Were As If He Gonna Kick Me Out Of There)
I Raise My Hand, He Says Come With Me.

Then He Show Me The Way To A Room.

And There Was The Senior Most HR Sitting Der, He Says Then Sit Siddharth You Are Going To Be Interviewed Again.
He Was A Man Of About 40 And With A Pleasant Smile On His Face.

It Was Very Surprising To Me As I Have Never Heard That Infy Interview Twice Too.. :O
And More Over My Dress Was Un-Formal.
I Was Tensed And Runs Into Sweat.

Bt Nyhow I Managed Myself, Then Again Starts The Process Of Interviewing Mr. Pundir Second Time.
Which Last For Almost 35-40 Mins This Time, Strange Na????
Here It Goes.

HR : Siddharth, What Happened In First Interview.
ME : It Was Nice Sir.

HR : Siddharth, Tell Me About Ur Family.
ME : Answered.

HR : So Your Father Is A Doc.???
ME : Yes Sir.

HR : Wats His Specialization.
ME : Sir, He Is A Homeopath.

HR : Oh Thats, Great I Too Have Recently Started To Take Homeopathic Medicines, What You Says, Have I Done Good??
ME : Yes Sir, Its Good. Homeopathy Is For Intelligent Persons Who Dont Want Any Side effects To Their Body Due To

Medicines.

HR : Siddharth I Have A Pain In My Back Since Five Years, Can U Tell Me Wats The Prob.
ME : (With A Smile), Sir M A Engg. Student Not A Medical One, So How Could I???

HR : Wat If Your Boss Ask You For A Favor On That What Will You Do??
ME : Sir I Will Call My Father, And Will Tell Him What My Father Will Suggest.

HR : Well Answered.
ME : Tx Sir. :)

HR : Siddharth Tell Me About Ur Frnd Circle.
ME : Answered, I Told Him All Of My Frnds Are Above Intelligent. They Are All Nice.

HR : So, That Means You Dont Make A Dumb Person You Frnd.
ME : No, Sir Its Not Like That, I Make Dumb Person My Frnds Too, One Of My Frnd Is Dumb And Depressed.

HR : So. How Do You Help Him.
ME : Sir I Help Him In Preparing For Exams, I collect Notes For Him Etc.

HR : Siddharth, Your Father Is A Doc, Dont You Ever Thought Of Making A Software To help Him Out.
ME : (I Was Dumbstruked, I Never Expected That Type Of Question) Yes Sir I Do, I Even Try To Make.

HR : So Whats The Result, Its Done??
ME : No, Sir I Made The Logic, Bt There Is Some Prob In Coding, I wasn't Able To Remove The Error.

HR : So What Do You Do About It Then???
ME : Sir I Consult My Clg's Topper. He Managed To Somehow Make It Running, Bt Still Der Is Prob. Sometimes Its

Database Gets Corrupted.

HR : So Dont You Consult Any Teacher Of Yours???
ME : No Sir.

HR : Why????
ME : Sir, They Dont Know Much. They Are More Or Less Useless. (I Knw I Ws Doing Wrong Bt I Said Tht)

HR : Okays, Dont Worry Siddharth, Bring Your Software In INFY, We Will Make It Work.
ME : (I Was Happy, It Seemed That He Has Made His Mood To Tk Me In, So I Relaxed) Tx. A Lot Sir. :)

HR : Siddharth Your Academics Is Not That Much Good??
ME : Yes Sir, I knw It??

HR : So Tell Me A Single Thing Which Academically Makes You Different Frm Your Frnds So That I Can Make My Mind To

Take You In.
ME : Sir Whenever I Says That I Will Top In A Particular Sub, Then I Do.

HR : Can You Mention Some Subs??
ME : I Named Digital Electronics, VHDL, C Etc.

HR : Oh VHLD, That Very Hard And Difficult Language. (I Worried Wat If He Ask Anything From It, I Dont Remember A

Single Code Of VHDL Right Now)
ME : Yes Sir (With A Broad Smile On My Face)

HR : So When You Are So Good, Then Wats The Prob With Teachers??
ME : Sir When Ny Teacher Teaches Wrong, Then I Points It Out And They Take Me As A Rival Of Them.

HR : Oh, That A Prob, You Will Also Fight With The Educator At Mysore If I Will Take You.
ME : No Sir, I Dont Object Nyone When He His Teaching Rightly.

HR : Siddharth Was You Ashamed Because Of Nything Done By You In Your Life.
ME : I Answered. (I Dont Want To Share It)

ME : No sir.

HR : Why There Are Many Other Giants Like TCS, WIPRO. Why Dont You Join Them?

ME : Sir, Let Me Complete. M Not Looking For A Job, M Looking For A career And INFY Can Provide That At Its Best.

HR : (With A Very Nice Smile On His Face) Well Done Siddharth, You Make Yourself IN.
ME : I Was Very Happy And Thought That The Interview Has Ended, Bt It Wasn't. :(

HR : Siddharth You Seems To Be A Person With Fantastic Management Skill, I Will Give You Couple Of Situations.
ME : Okays Sir. :)

HR : Suppose You Are A Delivery Manager, And There Are 10 Persons Under You. And One Of Them Is Not Doing His Task

Properly With The Client. What Will You Do Then.
ME : Sir, I Will Check The Past Records Of Those 10 Persons, Then Will Ask For a Feedback From My Client, Then Will

Keep My Eye On Them And After Finding Out Will Try To Tell Him Indirectly That I knw, So That He Will Get Back To

His Ethics.

HR : Bt Wat If He Still Dont Get On Right Path.
ME : Sir I will Try To Be His Mentor Bt If Still He Dont Then Will Fire Him.

HR : Okays. Now Tell Me What You Gonna Do When You See Your Boss Is Not Doing Right Things??
ME : Sir I Wont Do Nothing.

HR : Why??
ME : Sir Hez Mah Boss What Can I Do??

HR : Then Wat Will Be Ur Plans???
ME : Sir I Wil Try To Excel So That I Will Become The Boss One Day, And Then Only I Will Do The Things In My Ways.

HR : He Gives Me 5 Continuous Puzzles Then And One Prob Of C.
ME : Answered. (At That Time I Was Thinking Hw Long This Interview Gonna Be, Was M Interviewed For IAS??) :O

HR : Okays Siddharth You Eat Nything Till Now???
ME : Yes Sir I Had A sandwich.

HR : Oh Thats Not A Good Thing, You Are So Young, You Sould Take Very Good Care Of Yourself. Afterall You Have A Lot

Of Work To Do..
ME : Ya Sir I Will(Now I Was Confirmed That M Selected.)

HR : Okays Siddharth It Was Nice Meeting You. Come Along Me We Will Announce The Results Now.
ME : Ya Sure Sir.

After That I Go To Audi, Then Again Mr. Manager Calls Who Is Siddharth Here, And Checks My Mark sheets.
And After more 25 Mins. The Resulls Were Announced.. And I Was Amongst The Few Selected.. :)
