Hi Frinds,

First of all Nokia Siemens Network took our wriiten test.....test was 1 hour long-it comprised of two sections-they gave us 30 mins for aptitude and 30 mins for technical....apti was easy...it was kinda mix of logical ability,analytical reasoning and basic apti ques of time-speed-distance lyk trains and al...r.s aggarwal verbal and non-verbal +apti will suffice easily for it....otherwise even without doing this book a person with good IQ level can easily crack the written....
now comes the technical portion.....i found it a bit tough....actualy if a person is thorough in al the subjects of btech then he or she wont face any difficulty in it....it would appear as easy as pie:-)..but here thorough doesnt mean u need to have the knowledge of subjects upto GATE level....jst the basics of al subjects are needed...
questions were from various subjects viz -analog and digital comm,field & waves,antenna and wave propagation,computer networks,linear integrated ckts and basic semiconductors.....but u jst have to have the basic knowledge only, no expertise reqd!!!!
this was al about the written....after 4 hours they declared the results of written...
i was among the shortlisted candidates.....
now the next hurdle for me was the interview....they told us in their
paper presentation that tech and hr would be combined...
GUYS DO HAVE THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF GSM..
AS COMPANY DEALS IN GSM ONLY....

now came my turn for interview...i ws a bit nervous coz it ws my first interview...
as soon as i entered the room...i saw two guys sitting over dere...they were scanning my resume.....
first interviewer asked me..
Q-miss shelly u are from karnal or sirsa...your 10th and 12th is from sirsa
n you address shows karnal as your residential place?
A-I told ....
Q- u did your training from BEL...what did you learn there?
A-told..
trainings form a very crucial part of your resume...so don bluff over here....
Q-asked bout my second training ....?
A-actualy i havnt done it....i got the certi from sm1....bt i would strongly recommend  training should be done...
otherwise b sure of what you are writtin in your cv...u can underpinn it...otherwise it would b a negative point...
second interviewer asked..
Q-which is your fav sub?
A- i told analog and digital comm...
GUYS B E PREPARED FOR THIS Q..
Q-then he asked me some ques on antenna and wave propagation?
A-i answered..
Q-about GSM ARCHITECTURE?
A-i answered....
Q-they asked me wil u b comfortable in field job,night shift,working in rural area....etc..
A-i said doesnt matter....if u place me anywhr..
AND IF YOU ARE A GIRL DONT HESITATE SAYING YES...
finally results were anounced.....with the blessings of god,my parents and my friends i got shortlisted.....!!!!!!!!
