Hello Everyone!!!!

I am here to share my nokia siemens Networks(NSN) experience with you.First of all let me tell u about the pattern of the 
xam.

Written: Aptitude( 20 ques, 30 min)
	 Technical( 25 ques, 30 min)

Interview: technical + HR (Combined)



About written, the apti part was very simple that u don even need to read any book, only a gud IQ level is enough. But guys
don take risk jus do RS Aggarwal.

But the technical part was gud and had questions from every subject of ECE. Although the ques were very simple but it 
included almost every subject n tricky one.

We were 114 students who took the writtn exam and after 2 hours result was out n this was d first tym in the history
(TCS + Infosys) of writtn xam dt ma name was dere lolzz...god thnx a lot!!! Once I cleared d writtn i was feeling very much 
relaxed coz it was very imp for me to clear d writtn as i was not able to do it twice bfore. Now this is d golden opprtunity 
for me so I don want to do a single mistake( though i did many).

For interview I mainly stressed upon two sub. analog comm n CCN ( computer networks) and smwt basics of elect,digital and
about ma projects.

( no need to do C, C++ etc at all they dont even bother abt it, infact i erased it from my CV also.)




Now I am goin to discuss abt ma interview as it was a combined interview, so i am  writin it in d same order.
It took about 30 min.

Interview ( tech + HR):

(my name was called n I was jus goin to enter in the room when one f ma frn told me dt I cleared d GATE, which raised ma
 confidence)

I: hello meetinder.
M: hello sir.
( he offered me snacks, I denied)

I: K meetinder what is ur prception about lyf??
M: told ( also gave example y do i think so).

I: wt iz ur aim( short term n long term)??
M: told ( my both aims r same, dosn mattr but u shud hv explanation).

I: What do you know about CDMA?
M: explained abt CDMA and  also spread spectrum technique.

I: How it is different from TDMA and FDMA?
M: explained basic concept.

I: Which one is better CDMA or GSM?
M: CDMA

I: Why??
M: due to its speed, efficiency, high data rate and it is also much secure than GSM.

I: so Why reliance is coming to the GSM market these days if CDMA so superior than GSM?
M: confused, might b d implementation of d CDMA is costly ( not satisfactory answer).

I: if I posted u in gujrat how will u adjust??
M: told ( this is d much relaxing question he asked).

I: Meetinder you are lookin very passionate.
M: yes sir, I am.

I: So i suppose u must have done something different in ur b.tech??  
  ( this was d most awaited ques for me..) 
M: Yes Sir, I was among the 2 students out f 200 who got selected in IIT's alumni robotics
   organization...( interuupted...)

I: Only 2 students?
M: yes sir.( lukd very impressed) I got selected for the training programme, I attended n delievred more than 20 workshop 
   with them all across the country in many NIT's and IIT's( named them).

I: gud.

  (then he asked me very little abt projects) 


I: Do u have any interest in IT field?
M: No sir.

I: Why?
M: told that my sis insisted me to took the CSE branch but I had interest in mathematics so thts y I choose ECE.

I: find out the sq root of 0.9?? (he gave me a blank paper)
M: done

I: he gave me d quadratic n a cubic eq to find d roots.
M: I solved d quadratic eq but cubic seems to be difficult, i wz tryin (he interuupted...thank god!!!)

I: k meetinder What do you know abt NSN?
M: i was well prepared for this ques so told and i also mention abt a controversy, in  Which NSN gave its interception
   technology to a Iran company TCI and due to that tech. the speed of the internet reduced by one tenth of original. 
   ( they both smiled)    

I: k Which is ur favourite subject?
M: Embedded Systems n Robotics. 

I: which subject u dont lyk?
M: DSP 

I: Do u have knowledge abt logic gates??
M: Yes sir.

I: What does a 0 and 1 stand for in digital electronics??
M: sir 0 corresponds to low state and 0 volt whereas 1 stands for the high state and 5 volts.

I: what is the representation of 1.1V ??
M: sir, there is a particular value, i think it is 3.2 below which it is considered as 0V and above which it is 5V.
 
I: What is NOT gate??
M: explained 

I: He drew a input waveform and asked me to draw corresponding output of NOT gate??
M: I drew the output waveform but done a blunder.( actualy he drew a analog triangular pulse and I drew its
   mirror image).

I: Meetinder can a NOT gate give output to a analog signal ??
M: (oh shit... nw wt to say) sorry sir. (paused)

I: Can you make a transistor with two diodes?
M: yes sir( I don kno y i said yes but this is again a blunder).

I: r u sure??
M: yes sir.( he was lookin dissapointed and i thought bas ho gaya kaam..)

I: what is CSMA?
M: ( I discussed CSMA jus bfore ma interview wid ma frn) told n also explained its types CSMA/CD and CSMA/CA.

I: Do u have any furher plans for higher studies??
M: No sir. ( make sure u never say yes)

I: but why, there r lot of options lyk Mtech, IES n PSU's which make ur future more bright??
M: explained.

finally he said k meetinder see u and shook hand wid me and here I again did a mistake, I didn shake hand with other 
interviewr so I again turnd back n shook hand wid him.

Altogether ma interview was gud but i have done 2-3 blunder mistakes in technical part so i was havin smwt doubt in ma mind
that those blunder cud hv cost me. So finally after 2 hours result was out n with d grace f god d first name announced from 
ma college was of me. yupieee....!!!!
